(FOX40.COM) — Legendary musicians Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan will perform in the Sacramento region as part of a nationwide tour this summer.

Nelson and Dylan will be joined by John Mellencamp and Brittney Spencer for the “Outlaw Music Festival Tour” at the Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland on Aug. 4.

“This year’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour promises to be the biggest and best yet with this lineup of legendary artists,” Nelson said in a news release. “I am thrilled to get back on the road again with my family and friends playing the music we love for the fans we love.”

Tickets for the Wheatland concert go on sale Friday, March 1 at 10 a.m.

The rest of the festival lineup includes Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Celisse, and Southern Avenue, but those artists are not listed in the Sacramento stop.

The festival tour begins on June 21 at Alpharetta, Georgia and will conclude at Buffalo, New York on Sept. 17. The tour will also make its way to other California cities such as Chula Vista, the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, and the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View.

According to Live Nation, the Outlaw Music Festival made its debut in 2016 with a single show in Scranton, Pennsylvania and has since developed into a North American tour.

Musicians who have taken part in the festival in previous years include Chris Stapleton, Neil Young, Luke Combs, ZZ Top, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow and Sturgill Simpson.
