For months, there was no news on whether Alpine Valley Music Theatre was going to have any shows in 2023. But Tuesday, the East Troy amphitheater announced a big one.

Willie Nelson's Outlaw Music Festival is stopping at the East Troy amphitheater June 24, opposite Summerfest, about two months after the country music legend turns 90.

The lineup for the Alpine show, the tour's second stop, is stacked, with Willie Nelson & Family playing their first area show since headlining Farm Aid at Alpine in 2019), plus Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Trampled by Turtles, bluegrass breakout Molly Tuttle with her band Golden Highway, and Nelson's son J. Micah Nelson (aka Particle Kid).

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at outlawmusicfestival.com, with prices to be announced. Presales begin Tuesday.

Editor's note: An earlier version of this story had the wrong name for Molly Tuttle's band.
