Willingboro man slain in Burlington City shooting

BURLINGTON CITY - A 40-year-old Willingboro man was fatally shot while sitting in a parked car here early Thursday.

Dominick Santiago was shot multiple times shortly before 3 a.m. as he sat in the driver's seat of an SUV on the 500 block of Linden Avenue, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office,

He was found by city police officers who responded to the sound of gunfire.

Santiago was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where he was pronounced dead around 5:30 a.m.

An investigation was underway; no arrests were announced.
