Despite the loss, the Fletcher family told Delaware Online/The News Journal previously that the most important part of the experience was getting to embark on the journey together, knowing they were honoring their mother and would be able to use their show winnings to work on their dad’s home.

“We did our best to represent our family and the memory of my mother,” said Lisa Fletcher. “Doing that for her, it just brought us closer. Through the show, it was something to unite us as a family.”
