3 shot, 1 fatally, in Wilmington Saturday in city's Price Run neighborhood. Victim IDed.
Police have identified a 29-year-old woman fatally shot Saturday in Wilmington's Price Run neighborhood.
Danielle Hallmon was one of three people shot Saturday afternoon along East 23rd Street. Hallmon was hit by bullets and later died at the hospital, Wilmington Police said.
A 31-year-old man injured in the shooting remains in critical condition and a 30-year-old man who was also injured in the gunfire was considered to be stable.
Hallmon is the third person to have been killed in Wilmington within a week.
Ernest Peterson, 59, was fatally stabbed on Jan. 31 2200 block of N. Pine St. — around the corner from where Hallmon was shot dead.
The following day, 34-year-old Antoine Caceres was show dead the 2400 block of Bowers St..

Officers were still on the scene hours after the shooting Saturday across the street from Bethel Pentecostal Church at Pine and East 23rd streets.
A portion of the street was blocked by police cars and yellow tape Saturday night, while a forensic team collected evidence at a parked car on the scene. The vehicle’s windshield has several bullet holes.
A person at the scene of the shooting who did not want to be publicly identified said three people were injured in the gunfire, but that one didn't survive.
