What community and professional groups are you affiliated with? Better is Possible CDC, NC Black Film Festival, Core DJ's, B-Her (new initiative we are launching at Boseman's Shoes).

What are your guiding principles? Make peace with the past and let go of worry, fear and anxiety. Surround yourself with great people and things will fall into place.

How do you volunteer your time in the community? Mentoring, I am never afraid to talk about my wins and losses in the business world.

Who has helped you achieve success in your life and career? My family and friends. I also look back to a few influential teachers over the years who have shaped me to be where I am today.

What goal would you like to accomplish before turning 40? Sneaker Collaboration with Jordan Brand and Nike, and expanding to have another store.

What's your favorite book? “Shoe Dog” by Phil Knight

What are your hobbies? DJ'ing, working out and golf.

What's your most prized possession? My kids and my first music plaque, which I received from the Core DJ's as a trendsetter DJ in North Carolina.
