Did you cross paths with a Girl Scout Cookie booth over the weekend?

Chester Troop 140 operated a drive-thru cookie booth in the Chester Village Shopping Center on Saturday. It looked like they were giving Dunkin' Donuts across the street a run for its money.

Brian and Dina Phelps were on site to help their seven-year-old daughter Marian, a Girl Scout Daisy, gain a deeper understanding of the world of business and earn another cookie badge to symbolize her achievement.

To attract customers, Phelps’s mom walked on the sidewalk along Rt. 10 holding a sign that read, “Cookie Season is Here." Girl Scout Cookie fans beeped their horns.

Sporting a vest loaded with well-earned badges, Marian sold cookies to drivers on wheels and walkers on foot. Brian Phelps enthusiastically assisted his daughter operate her business.
