Wind advisory for some areas Sunday, breezy and sunny week ahead

The storms have exited, but the winds have cranked up.

Meteorologist George Waldenberger said it is cooler, drier, sunnier and much windier after our cool front has passed.

A wind advisory is in place as wind gusts have topped 40mph in some areas Sunday.

A gale warning is in effect as boating on our waters is hazardous with the winds and rough, chop and surf.

Both warnings will expire Sunday night, and conditions will improve somewhat for Monday.

It will still be breezy but not nearly as windy.

The week ahead look dry with a lot of sunshine and very nice temperatures.
