WEBSTER – A reward is being offered to anyone with information on Friday's fire that ravaged The Wind Tiki, a longtime Chinese restaurant on Thompson Road.

Under the state's Arson Watch Reward Program, informants will receive up to $5,000 for providing knowledge about the fire, anonymously if they wish.

A spokesperson for the state Department of Fire Services declined to comment on whether the cause of the fire has been confirmed to be arson.

The fire is being investigated by the Webster fire and police departments and the state fire marshal's office. The number to call with information is 1-800-682-9229.

The Wind Tiki was destroyed by fire shortly after midnight Friday.
