Winderemere brokers fundraise for community

Jan. 26—The Windermere Realty Trust offices in Gearhart and Cannon Beach donated over $4,000 in the form of Fred Meyer gift cards to 40 Clatsop County families during the holiday season.

Windermere brokers in the Gearhart and Cannon Beach offices have raised and distributed nearly $40,000 over the last three years to Clatsop County organizations through the Windermere Foundation. The funds are raised by donating a portion of every transaction to the foundation.

Windermere's Share the Warmth program collected and distributed over 150 new articles of clothing to local charities, schools, churches and individuals in need. In addition, a donation of $1,400 was made to Clatsop County's Foster Care Children's program.

At the start of 2022, the goal was to reach $50 million in donations to the foundation in honor of Windermere's 50th anniversary. The goal was reached on Dec. 6
