What: Sandburg Wine Club is on every second Wednesday. Learn about five kinds of wines, including Illinois wines and international wines highlighted each month.

What: Lego Mania is back. Come build with Lego blocks to your heart’s content. You can free build or make something that fits the library's monthly theme. Open to kids of all ages accompanied by an adult. No registration required.

Choose to Move

What: Stretch, balance, reach, turn, walk, melt, fall, slide, press, shape, freeze, release, lift, stand, run, repeat. It’s movement, it’s a workout, it’s dance. Wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to kick off your shoes. Each class is designed for an intergenerational group of people ages 13 and up with a focus on developing each person’s movement potential.

When: 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday

Ariel Dance Chicago

What: Performance will launch concert dance into the creative and expressive possibilities of the vertical realm. The concert, Written on the Body, is a specially curated mix of daring new work alongside signature choreography and audience favorites from the past two decades of Aerial Dance Chicago’s original choreography. This program also highlights a new creation by ADC, performed by Knox College students and dancers from the local community.

David Kim Historical Piano Recital
