Wine, food benefit supports Ozarks Public Television's programs for children
Sample, sip and savor for a good cause with Ozarks Public Television and Brown Derby Wine Center.
The 33rd Annual Wine and Food Celebration will benefit children’s programming on OPT. The event is 2-5 p.m. Oct. 22 at White River Conference Center in Springfield.
Tickets will be available online and at the door.
“We are thrilled to return this year with the support of so many generous community partners,” said OPT General Manager Rachel Knight, in a news release. “Brown Derby Wine Center has been our partner since the very beginning and will help us host this popular event.”
Guests can samples from area restaurants, as well as wine from all over the world, craft beer, and cocktails from an elite list of vendors. Food vendors include:

Guests can also enjoy a photo booth, wine pull, raffle and musical entertainment by DJ Platinum. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Brown Derby Wine Center at 2023 S. Glenstone in Springfield.OPT is an affiliate of Public Broadcasting Service. It provides quality programs from national, regional and local sources. Each weekday, OPT provides 10 hours of educational children’s programming. Over 50,000 kids view these programs each week.
