New Wine Store In Summit To Cut Ribbon At End Of Month

SUMMIT, NJ — Cambridge Wines, which opened in Summit on Aug. 17, will hold its ribbon cutting Sept. 30 in the shopping plaza at 320 Springfield Ave.

The store offers brand name and hand-picked artisanal items from across the world, and a knowledgeable staff. The new store has on-site parking, but for those who want delivery, they deliver to four counties and more than 25 zip codes, often same-day and free.

According to a release, "During the height of the Covid-19 stay at home order, this modern approach to alcohol retailing allowed the team to fulfill over 20,000 orders without letting a single customer into the Morristown store."

Cambridge Wines opened in 2013 as a small specialty store but has expanded over the years into a modern retailer.

“We decided we were going to modernize the liquor store industry and offer customers
the best shopping experience for wine, beer, & spirits without sacrificing price,” said David
Bernat, owner/co-founder of Cambridge Wines.

The company is very active with the local community and is involved with several non-profit organizations through charitable giving events like wine tastings and fundraisers.
