Wings of Wonder: West Virginia Birds of Prey to come to Pipestem State Park

PIPESTEM, WV (WVNS) — The Three Rivers Avian Center’s Wings of Wonder: West Virginia Birds of Prey program will be at Pipestem State Park in early March 2024.

The event will be at 7:00 p.m. at the Conference Center at Pipestem State Park on Saturday, March 2, 2024, and is free. The public is invited to attend and all ages are welcome.

Three Rivers Avian Center to hold 17th annual Spring Eagle Watch

Attendees will be able to meet six native West Virginia Raptor Ambassadors such as live owls, falcons, hawks, and Three Rivers Avian Center’s bald eagle Regis up close. The event will educate people about what habitats the birds live in, any special abilities they have, what types of food they eat, and the dangers that they face.

Those who attend the event can ask questions, as well as get pro-active tips to help wild birds in the Mountain State.
