Wingstop set to open several new locations in Pittsburgh region

Popular chicken wing chain Wingstop is making its return to the Pittsburgh region.

After the region’s two franchise Wingstop locations closed in 2017, Wingstop Restaurants Inc. (NASDAQ: WING) announced that it will be returning to the region officially on Monday, Dec. 19, 2022.

The first of three restaurants to open in the next several months will be at 10 Clairton Rd., and a grand opening for the 1,845-square-foot restaurant will be held on Dec. 19. Two more locations, one at 1609 Braddock Ave. and one at 4855 McKnight Rd., will open in Jan. and Feb. of next year.
