Wings and bubble tea join growing list of retailers at new Steele Creek shopping center

A Texas-based wings restaurant and a Taiwan-based tea shop are expanding with stores planned in Steele Creek, near Charlotte Premium Outlet.

Wingstop will open in a 1,400-square-foot space at Trojan Drive in Steele Creek Landing, Eric Barta, broker for real estate company CORE Properties told The Charlotte Observer recently.

ShareTea, with two other Charlotte locations, will open in a 1,300-square-foot space next to Glow Spa at the shopping center, Barta said.

Both stores in the 7,200-square-foot building are expected to open in the fall.

Longhorn Steakhouse was the first business to open in February at the new retail center off Highway 160 near Interstate 485. The center includes seven buildings on a 12.2-acre site, CORE’s project plan shows.
