Winn-Dixie celebrates Random Acts of Kindness day

The Lakewood Winn-Dixie started random acts of kindness for members of the community.

Every online order placed on Random Acts of Kindness Day by viewers and online readers through the Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarket websites, the grocery store donated $10 to Feeding Northeast Florida to help fight hunger in our community.

The store also surprised random customers by paying for their groceries and gave them an additional gift card to pay it forward to a loved one or a stranger in need.
