CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. — Someone who bought a lottery ticket in Cambridge City has won a quarter of a million dollars.

The winning ticket matched all five numbers in Sunday's CA$H 5 drawing, according to a Hoosier Lottery news release. The winning numbers for an estimated $255,500 payout were 4-8-16-23-45.

The winner purchased the ticket at Bob-O-Link Liquors at 19 W. Main St. The odds of matching all five numbers are 1 in 1,221,759, according to Hoosier Lottery.

CA$H 5 also awarded a jackpot Jan. 9 when a ticket sold in Angola matched all five numbers. That jackpot was $722,500.

Hoosier Lottery suggests the jackpot winner ensure the winning ticket is in a secure place and consider meeting with a financial advisor before claiming the jackpot. The winner should contact Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886 for specific instructions on claiming the jackpot.
