Adele won four gongs at the Brit Awards in London on Wednesday, including best album.

British female solo artist -- Adele. The other nominees were Amy Winehouse, Florence + The Machine, Jess Glynne and Laura Marling.

British breakthrough act -- Catfish And The Bottlemen. The other nominees were James Bay, Jess Glynne, Wolf Alice and Years & Years.

Brits global success award -- Adele.

International male solo artist -- Justin Bieber. Other nominees were Drake, Father John Misty, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd

International group -- Tame Impala. Other nominees were Alabama Shakes, Eagles of Death Metal, Major Lazer, U2.

International female solo artist -- Bjork. Other nominees were Ariana Grande, Courtney Barnett, Lana Del Rey, Meghan Trainor.

British artist video -- One Direction. Other nominees were Adele, Calvin Harris and Disciples, Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, Little Mix, Naughty Boy featuring Beyonce and Arrow Benjamin, Sam Smith and Years & Years.
