Winners are Brown, Kuhl and Meinecke as Norwalk votes on three City Council seats

Jason Brown, incumbent Ed Kuhl and George Meinecke won seats on the Norwalk City Council on Tuesday, emerging victorious from a field of five in unofficial results.

Jeff Caldwell and Andy Boerjan also competed. The terms of Mayor Tom Phillips, Mayor Pro Tem Jaki Livingston and council member Brian Baker expire in 2025.

Brown, an Eldora native who spent two years on the Norwalk Planning and Zoning Commission, got the most votes of any candidate at 23%.

George Meinecke

George Meinecke won a seat on the Norwalk City Council.

Meinecke, a Cooper native who served 13 years on the Norwalk Community Board of Education, got 22% of the vote.

Ed Kuhl

Ed Kuhl was re-elected to Norwalk City Council.

Kuhl has served on the Norwalk City Council since 2015. He received 19% of the vote.
