Winners and results: ASICS Falmouth Road Race 50th Celebration
In celebration of its 50th year, the Falmouth Road Race had some elite participants this year. Ben Flanagan from Kitchener, Ontario remained unbeaten in the 7-mile race as he won for the third time. He finished in first place in 2018 (32:25) and won last year with a time of 32:16. For the women's elite 7-mile, Keira D'Amato from Virginia won (36:14) in her first Falmouth Road Race. Edna Kiplagat of Colorado was runner-up with a time of 36:28.
For the elite mile men's race, Paul Ryan of Idaho won in his very first Falmouth Road Race with a time of 03:55.91. For the women's elite mile race, Nikki Hiltz of Arizona took home first place with a time of 04:28.93.
For the men's elite wheelchair 7-mile and mile race, Daniel Romanchuk of Illinois finished first in both. For the women's elite wheelchair 7-mile and mile run, Susannah Scaroni from Illinois placed first in both.
