The Mega Millions jackpot is the game's No. 6 largest lottery prize the U.S. has ever seen and is also currently the No. 4 Mega Millions jackpot of all time after no one matched all six numbers Friday night.

Powerball also continued to grow after nobody matched all six numbers from Monday night's drawing. The current Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $95 million, with a cash option of $48.1 million.

The numbers are in for the Tuesday, Aug. 1, lottery jackpot worth $1.1 billion with a cash option of $550.2 million.

The winning numbers for Tuesday night's drawing were 8, 24, 30, 45, 61, and the Mega Ball was 12. The Megaplier was 4X.

Six tickets matched all five numbers except for the Mega Ball worth $1 million. They were purchased in California (two), Massachusetts, North Carolina, New York, and Wisconsin.

One ticket sold in Texas matched all five numbers except for the Mega Ball and added the Megaplier worth $4 million.
