Powerball winning numbers

The winning numbers for the jackpot, which ballooned to $2.04 billion after updated calculations, were 10, 33, 41, 47 and 56. The red Powerball was 10. If there are any winners, they have yet to be announced.

The Monday night drawing was delayed by a technical difficulty. Lottery officials said the drawing would not be done until all game procedures have been successfully completed.

One of the participating states was unable to process its ticket sales and submit player data before Monday night's drawing, according to a statement from Powerball officials. The results are expected this morning.

It's not the first time the drawing was delayed. Viewers who tuned in on Oct. 19 for the $508 million Powerball drawing were met with an hour delay due to a "technical problem."

According to a statement on Powerball's website, Monday's drawing delay was due to a "participating lottery needing extra time to complete the required security protocols." Before a drawing can occur, Powerball has strict security requirements that must be met by all 48 lotteries, and once those are complete, the drawing is performed under supervision by lottery security officials and independent auditors.

The jackpot is still currently worth a record-breaking $1.9 billion with a cash value of $921.9 million.

Previous reporting: The record-breaking Powerball jackpot continues to climb to historic numbers ahead of the next drawing Monday night, as there have not yet been no grand prize winners.

The jackpot is currently worth an estimated $1.9 billion dollars with a cash value of $921.9 million, making it the highest Powerball jackpot ever. The last record Powerball jackpot was $1.586 billion in January 2016.

You can choose your lucky numbers on a play slip or let the lottery terminal randomly pick your numbers.

To win, match one of the 9 Ways to Win:

  • 3 white balls = $7.

  • 2 white balls + 1 red Powerball = $7.

There's a chance to have your winnings increased two, three, four, five and 10 times through the Power Play for an additional $1 per play. Players can multiply non-jackpot wins up to 10 times when the jackpot is $150 million or less.
