Winning ticket in Illinois’ Lucky Day Lotto sold at metro-east convenience store

A winning Illinois lottery ticket worth $800,000 was sold over the weekend at a metro-east MotoMart.

The jackpot winner’s name was not released, but the state lottery agency said in a release that someone purchased the Lucky Day Lotto ticket for the Sept. 29 drawing at the MotoMart at 5311 Godfrey Road, Godfrey. The store will receive $8,000 for selling the winning ticket.

The winning numbers were: 1-2-13-31-32.

Drawings for the Lucky Day Lotto, an Illinois-only game, are twice daily. “So far this year, over 9 million winning Lucky Day Lotto tickets have been sold, with total prizes netting more than $53 million for Illinois Lottery players,” the release states.
