Winslow doesn't want, or need, a new concert hall

The proposed concert hall idea for the ferry landing area on Bainbridge does not have my support.

There is no demonstrated need. It will compete with the Bainbridge Performing Arts. There is no discussion of what will happen to ferry parking. It will increase traffic congestion where there is already a lot from the ferries. From a parochial point of view it will block views of Eagle Harbor enjoyed by the residents of Harbor Square. (NIMBY?)

I do not think Bainbridge wants to become an extension of Seattle. This plan should be nipped in the bud.
