WINTER VINECKI: My name is Winter. I'm originally from a small town in Michigan, but now reside in Park City, Utah. I'm a former triathlete and marathon runner, but now aerial skier. I've been doing aerial skiing since I was about 13, and have really been looking forward to the Olympics, working hard in the last couple of years. I think I've been on the team, the US National Team, for about five years now.

Best advice I'd say I've ever gotten is just to take it one day at a time because it can get very overwhelming if you try to think of everything at one time and all you need to do to get to where you want to go. So just take it day by day, and then I think the best advice that I've ever given someone is to make sure you're having fun. It's not always going to be a ton of fun. There's going to be difficult days, but it's important to, in the big picture, making sure you're enjoying it, you're having fun. Because at the end of the day, if you are doing something you love, it's going to make it a lot easier to work hard and make those sacrifices versus if you're just doing it and you're not really loving it, then it makes it a lot more difficult. And so really just making sure you're doing it because you love it.

And there are going to be tough days, but when you're having those tough days, take a step back and just take in the views around you, and take in the amazing journey and all the opportunities that it gives.
