Winton Woods grad Mike Edwards records pick-six in Tampa Bay win over New Orleans
Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Mike Edwards scored his third career touchdown on Sunday, this time with a pick-six that helped seal a 20-10 win over the New Orleans Saints.
Edwards, a Winton Woods High School grad who played in college at the University of Kentucky, picked off a Jameis Winston pass as the Saints were driving with just over four minutes remaining in the game. He returned it 68 yards as the Buccaneers took a 20-3 lead.

It was the sixth career interception for the fourth-year player. Nearly one year ago to the day, Edwards had two pick-sixes in one game. On Sept. 19, 2021 he returned two interception for touchdowns in Tampa Bay's win over the Atlanta Falcons.
