Wisconsin Badgers secure oral commitment from Illinois tight end Grant Stec for the 2024 class
MADISON – Wisconsin’s football staff on Sunday secured its second oral commitment for the 2024 class.
Grant Stec, a 6-foot-6, 225-pound tight end from Illinois, announced his commitment via Twitter.

Stec, from Algonquin, Illinois, reportedly held offers from seven other Big Ten schools – Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Penn State, Purdue and Rutgers.
He joins Texas quarterback Mabrey Mettauer in the class.
Illinois cornerback Austin Alexander recently de-committed from UW.
