Wisconsin business owner charged with sexual assault, acts allegedly occurred during cosmetic procedures
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WFRV) – The owner of a business in western Wisconsin was arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual assault after an investigation allegedly revealed inappropriate contact with clients of his.
According to the Eau Claire Police Department, on January 4, officers found out about ‘inappropriate contacts’ between a cosmetic service provider and a client. Authorities say that through continued investigation, additional victims were identified.
The victims reported that the owner of Renew Aesthetics, 40-year-old Christopher J. Devlin, sexually assaulted them, and/or took inappropriate photos of sensitive areas while completing cosmetic procedures at his business.
It was noted in the release that the alleged incidents happened between July and December 2023.
Search warrants at Renew Aesthetics and Devlin’s home were conducted on January 17 and included a K9 trained in digital device detection. As a result, Devlin was arrested and taken to the Eau Claire County Jail.
