Wisconsin Debates Televised In Milwaukee: Where To Watch

MILWAUKEE, WI — Three high-profile Wisconsin political debates will be televised and hosted in Milwaukee, Marquette University announced Monday.

Residents will be able to watch debates for Milwaukee's mayoral election, the Wisconsin U.S. Senate race and the gubernatorial race at Marquette University's Varsity Theater on TMJ4 News.

NBC affiliates will show U.S. Senate and gubernatorial debates statewide. Here are the 2022 debates that will air in Milwaukee on TMJ4:

  • March 27, 6-7 p.m.: Two finalists for the Milwaukee mayoral race

  • July 17, 6-7 p.m.: Candidates in the Democratic primary for U.S. senate

  • July 24, 6-7 p.m.: Candidates in the Republican primary for Wisconsin governor

  • Oct. 13, 6-7 p.m.: Democratic and Republican nominees for U.S. Senate

  • Oct. 20, 6-7 p.m.: Democratic and Republican nominees for Wisconsin governor

TMJ4 political reporter Charles Benson and anchor Shannon Sims will moderate each debate, the university said.

People will have to buy tickets for the event, and the university said space is limited.
