Wisconsin Department of Justice: No criminal charges for officer involved in deadly incident on I-41

WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin say the officer involved in a deadly incident on I-41 in Winnebago County has been cleared of any criminal charges.

According to a release, North Fond du Lac Police Department Sergeant Bryce LaLuzerne was identified as the officer who shot and killed a man on February 2 after he allegedly led police on a pursuit and then proceeded to approach officers after initially calling 911 to report that he had a gun.

Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) say a decision was recently made by the Winnebago County District Attorney to clear the officer involved of any potential criminal charges.
