MADISON – No position on the Wisconsin football team underwent more change in the offseason than quarterback.

Marshall Howe, Myles Burkett and Nick Evers are next up on the Badgers' quarterback depth chart

The staff has given reps to walk-on Marshall Howe, Myles Burkett and Nick Evers, a transfer from Oklahoma, in an effort to identify the No. 3 quarterback. Howe, a walk-on who joined the UW program last season, has gotten the bulk of the work and has been solid.

Burkett has made a handful of plays in limited opportunities. Evers might be the best overall athlete in the quarterback room but he has not picked up the offense quickly, which has limited his playing time.

Freshman Cole LaCrue has been been sidelined because of injury.
