Ohio State football has had Wisconsin's number in recent history.

The Buckeyes have won each of the last eight meetings against the Badgers and have not lost to Wisconsin at home since 2004 along with three wins in the Big Ten Championship.

It doesn't mean Wisconsin hasn't made it difficult for the Buckeyes. Five of the last eight meetings between the Buckeyes and the Badgers have been decided by a single score.

Wisconsin won two of its three non-conference games to start 2022

After a dominant 38-0 win against Illinois State to start the 2022 season, Wisconsin sputtered against Washington State.

Hosting the Cougars for the first time since 2007, the Badgers recorded 401 yards of offense and 22 first downs in over 38 minutes of possession, but scored only two first-half touchdowns, falling to Washington State 17-14 at home.

Wisconsin's loss to Washington State marks the second-straight season the Badgers have lost a game to a non-conference opponent after falling to Notre Dame in 2021.

The Badgers followed up their first loss of the season with a 66-7 trouncing of New Mexico State at home, the most points Wisconsin has scored in a game since 2014 against Bowling Green.
