OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A Wisconsin man has been arrested in connection to a child molestation that allegedly took place in August 2022.

A Wisconsin man has been arrested for an Okaloosa County molestation.

James Prellwitz, 60, of Milwaukee, was allegedly involved in a molestation when he spent time in Okaloosa County. He is accused of molesting a boy under the age of 12, according to a news release from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.

OCSO has charged Prellwitz with lewd or lascivious molestation.

According to the release, the victim said he was 5 years old and lived in the Fort Walton Beach area when the crime happened.

A warrant on Prellwitz was served on Jan. 24.
