Wisconsin Rapids, Stevens Point and Marshfield area schools to close Tuesday as snowstorm approaches
As central Wisconsin braces for a predicted 4 to 8 inches of snow, local schools are announcing closures for Tuesday.
Here are the schools that have announced snow days so far.
Marshfield area
Pittsville School District will be closed Tuesday. All classes and activities are canceled. This will be a traditional snow day, and there will be no virtual instruction.
Stevens Point area
Almond-Bancroft School District will be closed Tuesday. This is not a virtual day.
Iola-Scandinavia School District will be closed Tuesday and all after-school activities are canceled.
Pacelli Catholic Schools and the Tim Copps Early Childhood Center will be closed Tuesday. All after-school activities are canceled.
Rosholt School District will be closed Tuesday.
Stevens Point Area Public School District will be closed Tuesday, with no remote learning expectations.
Tomorrow River Schools in Amherst will have a virtual day Tuesday. There will be no in-person classes, games or practices.
Tri-County Area School District in Plainfield will be closed Tuesday.
Wisconsin Rapids area
Adams-Friendship Area School District will be closed Tuesday, along with all after-school activities.
Assumption Catholic Schools will be closed Tuesday, along with after-school activities and events.
School District of Nekoosa will be closed Tuesday. There will be no after-school activities or practices.
Port Edwards School District will be fully closed Tuesday with no remote learning expectations.
Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools will be fully closed Tuesday with no remote learning expectations.
