Wisconsin sets new record for coronavirus deaths

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers begged people to skip Thanksgiving celebrations with anyone from outside their households as the state set a new record for COVID-19 deaths. (Nov. 24)

- Our total deaths have now reached 3,115, which means we've reported an additional 104 Wisconsinites have lost their lives to COVID-19 since our report yesterday. This is the highest number of reported deaths in a single day.

TONY EVERS: If you're planning to spend Thanksgiving with people outside of your household, we urge you to seriously reconsider. We all must make must make short-term sacrifices for our long-term health. None of us wants to be the one to unwittingly spread this virus to somebody.
