Wisconsin State Fair 2023: Tommy James & the Shondells coming to Main Stage

Wisconsin State Fair officials have announced a 2023 headliner for the second consecutive day: '60s-originated group Tommy James & the Shondells, best remembered for such '60s hits as "Crimson and Clover" and "Crystal Blue Persuasion," will play the Main Stage Aug. 6, with Little Anthony opening.

Tickets for their show, at $36 to $46, go on sale at 10 a.m. March 3 at wistatefair.com and include general admission to the fair on the day of the concert.

March 3 is also when tickets go on sale for REO Speedwagon's Aug. 10 show on the fair's main stage.

Tickets are already on sale for five previously announced shows: Alabama on opening night Aug. 3; Jeff Dunham Aug. 5; For King & Country Aug. 7; Kidz Bop Aug. 8; and Trace Adkins on the fair's closing night, Aug. 13.
