Wisconsin State Fair announces first headliner for 2023: Alabama on opening night

Country Music Hall of Famers Alabama will have opening-night honors at the 2023 Wisconsin State Fair.
The band is the first main stage headliner announced for this year's fair. Exile will open the Aug. 3 show.
It also will be Alabama's first Milwaukee-area show since the death in November of co-founder Jeff Cook from complications related to Parkinson's disease. Cook's cousins and fellow founding members Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry are still performing with Alabama.
Reserved seats, priced between $65 and $75, go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 27 at wistatefair.com. Each ticket includes fair general admission Aug. 3.
The 2023 fair will run from Aug. 3 to 13.
