Without a wide release, Netflix's 'The Irishman' could lose millions

Netflix will not be giving Martin Scorsese’s highly anticipated gangster film "The Irishman" a wide theatrical release. The film has been in select theaters in New York and Los Angeles and will roll out in a few more cities, but many believe that this decision is leaving millions on the table for the streaming giant. For the cities the film is showing in, demand is high, with resellers asking for as much as $85 per ticket. The film will hit Netflix on November 27.
