- Again, everyone. 8:55 on your Thursday, the 10th day of June. 76 degrees. Checking in with Chelsea for your forecast.

CHELSEA INGRAM: Hi Tim. Good morning. Good morning to you at home. Right now temperatures are in the 70s.

It's 76 degrees at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. We finally are going to break that heat wave, looking at highs today in the mid 80s with the risk for showers and storms that could produce some heavy downpours. Now let's go over to Kristy Breslin with the check on the traffic. Kristy.

KRISTY BRESLIN: Good morning, Chelsea. Good morning, everyone. Some problems still out there on the Beltway. We have the crash on the inner loop of the Beltway at Perring Parkway.

You can see volume in the camera behind me. The good news is, once you get to the Charles Street Overpass, you're doing OK. Speeds are back up to about 57 miles per hour average. We also have a crash southbound 795 at the Beltway.

A new one in Baltimore City, westbound Reisterstown Road at Clarks Lane and also all lanes blocked here due to a crash. Sulpher Spring Road between Southwestern Boulevard and Washington Boulevard. Tim, back to you.

- Kristy, thank you. Baltimore Mayor, Brandon Scott will hold a virtual town hall meeting tonight to address the concerns of crime in Fells Point. Business owners there are frustrated over what they call lawlessness and a lack of essential services in that area. They want increased police presence and a crackdown on illegal drug and alcohol use in that region of the city.
