WNC high school football scores, live updates for NCHSAA Week 7 in Asheville, NC, area

Week 7 of the North Carolina high school football season arrives a day early, with much of the state and nearly all of WNC moving games to Thursday in order to avoid heavy rainfall Friday from Hurricane Ian.

For a few WNC conferences, Thursday's schedule includes games viewed as a de facto league championship: Reynolds vs. Asheville (MAC), Chase vs. Hendersonville (Mountain Foothills 7) and Draughn vs. Mitchell (Western Highlands). Adding Smoky Mountain's trip to West Henderson makes Week 7 perhaps the biggest week of the regular season.

Follow along with our live scoreboard throughout the night. While you're waiting, check out some of our other stories from this season.
