Wolf Park to scare up a fun 'Howl-O-Ween' event

BATTLE GROUND, Ind. – Come howl at the moon, listen to haunting stories and learn about wolf mythology at Wolf Park's annual "Howl-O-Ween" event Saturday, Oct. 29.

The event, which includes a lantern-lit tour, fire-side conversations and a chance to feed the park's animal ambassadors – the wolves – begins at 7 p.m. with a "Happy Haunting Hour." The lantern-lit tours begin at 8:30 p.m.

Visitors are encouraged to dress in costume and bring treats for the wolves – packaged hot dogs or summer sausages. You'll be treated in kind, but no tricks!

To purchase tickets, go to the event's website link.

Located at 4004 East 800 N in Battle Ground, Wolf Park has since 1972 been "dedicated to behavioral research, education, and conservation in order to improve the public’s understanding of wolves and the value they provide to our environment," the website states.
