Wolverine Makes Rare Appearance on Yellowstone Trailcam
Biologists captured footage of an “elusive” wolverine on a remote trail camera at Yellowstone National Park in December, newly released video shows.
In this video, which is dated December 4, a wolverine can be seen running through snowy woods inside the park. According to the park’s Facebook page, the footage was recorded near the Mammoth Hot Springs area.
In a statement, the park noted that wolverines “typically occupy high-elevation alpine and forest habitats, exist in low densities in the park and are rarely detected.” Credit: Yellowstone National Park via Storyful
