Wolverine spotted back in California for second time in a century

A wolverine, an animal rarely seen in California, has been spotted again in the Golden State. The Department of Fish and Wildlife said staff confirmed multiple recent sightings of what’s believed to be the same wolverine in the eastern Sierra. Two sightings were in the Inyo National Forest in Inyo and Mono counties. A third sighting was in Yosemite National Park in Tuolumne County.
