A 54-year-old woman was arrested and charged with trespassing outside Taylor Swift's mansion in Westerly, Westerly Police Chief Paul Gingerella confirmed.

Westerly police were called to the property at 16 Bluff Avenue on Monday for a report of a trespasser, Gingerella said. When the police got there, they found the woman outside the front gates, according to Gingerella.

"This subject was previously warned to not be on the property and subsequently arrested," Gingerella said.

In 2019, a New Jersey man was found inside the mansion and charged with trespassing, as well as breaking-and-entering. When the police found him, they noticed he wasn't wearing any shoes. When asked why, he told them he wanted to be polite.

In the same year, the police arrested a man for the second time after he was found at the gate of Taylor's mansion brushing his teeth. He'd also been seen kneeling and praying.
