Woman accused of biting Mobile Police officer during arrest: Reports

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Grand Bay woman is accused of biting an officer during an arrest, according to the Mobile Police Department.

One shot Wednesday morning on Dr EB Goode Drive in Mobile

An MPD news release said officers were called to the 900 block of Downtowner Boulevard around 2:20 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, for a report of a domestic dispute.

When officers arrived, they learned the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Chloe Briana Waltman of Grand Bay, had left the scene.

According to the release, officers were able to locate Waltman. While police were trying to arrest her, Waltman allegedly bit an officer.

Ashford Place Apartments homicide under investigation

Waltman was taken to Mobile Metro Jail and charged with second-degree assault, attempting to elude and resisting arrest, according to the release.
