Woman asking for tips for find her dog after it was stolen with vehicle in St. Paul

Jul. 26—A woman says she's devastated that her dog was stolen, at the same time her vehicle was taken, in St. Paul over the weekend and she's asking anyone with information to come forward.

GoGo, a German shepard-husky mix, remained missing as of Monday.

Katie Klaren said she called in a food order and stopped at a Payne-Phalen restaurant to pick it up. Klaren said she left her vehicle idling for a moment at about 4:40 p.m. Saturday at Payne and Sims avenue.

"I literally met them at the door to pick up the food and my car was gone," she said. The theft happened when her back was turned.

Video surveillance from the area showed someone in a black Dodge Caravan pulled up, and a man got out and drove away in Klaren's vehicle, she said. The Caravan went the other way.

Klaren said she adopted GoGo after her previous owner surrendered her. GoGo becomes anxious when she's alone and Klaren said she tries to bring her with her whenever she can, which is why she was in the vehicle.

GoGo is just over a year old and weighs 60 to 65 pounds. She is mostly black, with some tan fur and white on her chest.

The stolen vehicle was a 2015 black Subaru Outback with white stickers of horses in the upper right corner of the back window, Minnesota license plate AHE033

Police ask anyone with information to call them at 651-291-1111.
