Woman charged with hate crime in anti-Asian attack on Manhattan subway

A woman has been charged with a hate crime for her role in a Manhattan subway attack in which she and two others barked anti-Asian remarks at a man and woman and demanded they give up their seats, police said Wednesday.

Dream Commisso is charged with assault as a hate crime, aggravated harassment, assault, menacing and harassment, cops said.

Commisso, 19, along with a woman and a man, approached the victims on the shuttle train from Grand Central to Times Square around 8 p.m. on Nov. 19, police said.

The woman and her accomplices punched a 42-year-old man in the face as a 41-year-old woman with him watched, cops said.

Commisso and the other attackers ran off the train as it pulled into the Times Square station.

The punched man refused medical attention for a small cut.

Police are still looking for the other people involved in the attack.

Commisso’s arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court was pending Wednesday evening.
