Woman charged in Oxford storage unit burglary

Feb. 28—OXFORD — A Lafayette County woman has been arrested, accused of breaking into an Oxford storage unit in early February.

As part of an investigation into the January burglary of storage units in the 2500 block of Jeff Davis Extended, interviews led police to Tresa Grant, 52, of Harmontown. She was arrested and charged with burglary of a commercial building. During her initial appearance in Lafayette County Justice Court, bond was set at $10,000.

The DeSoto County Sheriff's Office for located Grant and turned her over to Oxford PD.
