A woman conducted trucks in Ottawa to honk their air horns in rhythm, footage posted on Thursday, February 17, shows.

This video, filmed on Wednesday by Austin Pelli, shows the woman moving her arms and directing the trucks when to honk.

According to Pelli, the woman spent about 30 minutes directing the truck horns. “It happened after the police gave the notices about leaving or getting arrested, so there was a resurgence of support, and the truckers were more ready to honk in defiance,” he said.

On Thursday, Ottawa Police said demonstrators would face “severe penalties” if they did not leave protest sites.

Officials installed barriers and fencing around Parliament Hill on Thursday morning and installed about 100 checkpoints to prevent more people joining the protests, local media said.
